THE_BRIEF

ASICS tasked us with creating and delivering an engaging activation to showcase the ASICS Gel-Challenger 15 shoe and position ASICS as a serious player in the tennis category in the minds of the ‘Sporty socialiser.’

This would be achieved through building a memorable experience that would cut through a cluttered market, drive conversation and connect meaningfully with tennis communities whilst also reinforcing ASICS’ commitment to a ‘Sound mind, sound body’ philosophy.


The occasion brought together a dynamic mix of influencers, community, professional athletes, retail partners, media, alongside members of the ASICS tennis product team. Attendees enjoyed an interactive day of on‑court activities — drills, mini‑matches, presentations and hands‑on trials to experience the shoes firsthand. The event radiated a friendly, inclusive vibe; many attendees noted the community feel and shared enthusiasm for ASICS’ belief in movement as a means to boost mental wellness

THE_RESPONSE

We really enjoyed designing a space where ASICS could host a vibrant launch event for its much-anticipated Gel‑Challenger 15 tennis shoe at Wimbledon Park Tennis Academy.

THE_RESULT

ASICS EMEA’s Trade Marketing Manager Nina Bebbington described the launch as “Tennis, redefined through the lens of wellbeing,” underscoring the shift towards holistic performance. The event also served as a key moment to strengthen partnerships with media and retail, reinforcing ASICS’ tennis positioning.
